| Day 1 SUNDAY |
Depart New York on your EL AL Israel Airlines overnight flight to Tel Aviv. Dinner & breakfast aloft.

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. Met and assisted by an Abrams Travel representative. Remainder of day at leisure to enjoy the beach or pool. Stroll along the beautiful beachfront Promenade. Welcome dinner and overnight, Dan Tel Aviv.

Our visit in Israel begins at the Palmach Museum. See the highlights of Israel's largest city, Tel Aviv, including Rabin Square where Yitzhaq Rabin was assassinated. Then drive along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea. Visit the Roman theater, which still hosts concerts today and the Caesarea Harbor Experience. Continue north to Haifa and view the picturesque panorama view of Haifa Bay and colorful Bahai Gardens. Travel to explore the beautiful blue grottos at Rosh Hanikra, created by centuries of nature's wind and sea. Drive through the green Galilee to our Kibbutz for dinner and overnight. |

Travel through the hills of Galilee to Safed, Israel's mystic city. Visit the artist colony and the ancient synagogues. Time for shopping. Then go off-road by jeep for a scenic view of the Golan Heights. End the day Kayaking on the Jordan River. Return to our Kibbutz for dinner and overnight.

| Tour our kibbutz to witness the functioning of this agricultural collective. Pass Tiberias on our way to explore the magnificent Roman ruins at Beit Sheen, one of the most elaborate in the Middle East. A brief stop will be made at the JNF Forest, where we have the opportunity to plant trees. Proceed to the new theme park, Mini Israel, where you see all of Israel displayed. As we drive through the Jerusalem corridor the remains of the War of Independence comes into view. We now climb the hills to "Jerusalem of Gold", as our ancestors did with songs and psalms. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem. |

| Day 6 FRIDAY |
Drive to the old city of Jerusalem. Explore the Rabbi's Tunnel, The Cardo, The Davidson Center and Southern Wall excavations. In the afternoon, visit the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book, housing the Dead Sea Scrolls. Return to your hotel to prepare for Shabbat. Welcome the Shabbat at the Western Wall. Shabbat dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Shabbat at leisure or join in prayers at one of the many synagogues. Visit family and friends. This evening join the excitement of Ben Yehuda Street, the bustling Pedestrian Mall. Overnight, Jerusalem.
Drive past the new Supreme Court building and the Knesset to the Hadassah Hospital's synagogue to view the magnificent Chagall Windows. Proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. In the afternoon, we leave Jerusalem and drive to the Dead Sea to enjoy their many activities including floating in the healing waters. Dinner and overnight, Dead Sea. |

We begin our day with a short drive to Masada. Bar/Bat Mitzvah service at the ancient synagogue on Masada. Tour the famous mountain fortress and for those wishing, walk down the snake path. Experience the Negev Desert as a Bedouin by riding a camel and enjoying a hafla at Mamshit. Drive via the Arava for a chance to behold the natural beauty of the desert. Overnight Eilat.

City tour of Eilat, including the Underwater Observatory to see some of the world's most exquisite sea life. Optional swim with the dolphins or submarine ride. In the late afternoon, we will board a yacht for water activities and a dinner on a Red Sea cruise. Overnight Eilat.

| Day 11 Wednesday |
Depart Eilat and drive through the beautiful Negev Desert to the Ramon Crater to see one of nature's more interesting sites. Stop for a visit at Sde Boker to see the desert home of David & Paula Ben Gurion. Continue to Beersheva, the capital of the Negev. Visit one of Israel’s most important air force bases at Hatzerim. Return to Tel Aviv for overnight.

| Day 12 THURSDAY |
Today we are all archaeologists at a special "Dig for a Day" archaeological experience. Uncover ancient hidden treasures as other Abrams tour participants have. Continue on to the Ayalon Institute to see how a bakery and a laundry were cover-ups for clandestine arms manufacturing during the War of Independence. Visit Jaffa and end our tour with a farewell dinner before late evening transfer to the airport for check-in. |

| Depart on your return flight home. New friends and beautiful memories accompany us. |
